Penn AFSA was founded in the winter of 2023 by a group of alumni committed to the principles of free speech.

Our purpose is to provide a platform for alumni to effect change for free speech principles at our alma mater, provide support for other Penn stakeholders (including students, faculty, and administrators) in defense of free speech, and model how to engage in meaningful and respectful discourse between divergent views in an environment of free speech.
